Our take on a ESP8266-01 programmer
Posted: Sat Nov 07, 2015 11:46 amYes, there are lots of programmers available for ESP8266's. My partner and I came up with this one and so far it's working great. The 5v power supply plugs into a 2.1mm jack on the side and the USB cable connects to the PC.
We added two LED's to represent GPIO0 and GPIO2. The pushbutton switches allows us to ground GPIO0 for programming and also a reset button.
