I am Dutch. And we are well known for our miserliness.
So I am entitled to a iot project that helps me in this.
So what is each Dutch guy and girl afraid off: that the light in the fridge will not go out when you close the door.
If it indeed does not go out you will unnecessary burn money and that is something I reallty hate.
So I made this project using ESP-Basic that tests wether the light in the fridge really goes out when I close the door and sends that information to my Android phone.
I wrote a detailed step by step instruction with the source code which is just a few lines of code (Basic is really great) on my weblog. I give you the breadboard setup and a sample of the webpage here.
