I have connected ESP8266 module to Arduino Nano, and have successfully published sensor data to cloud over internet through a traditional land line based WiFi router. however when i try to do the same with 3g dongle internet connectivity, i found that ESP8266 is not getting connected to Internet thus no data is being published to cloud. I wonder if ESP8266 doesn't work with 3G Dongle internet! I have setup a WiFi hotspot on my laptop using mHotspot (http://www.mhotspot.com/) and sharing 3G dongle Internet through it. Any suggestion on resolving this problem? Please help.

What cloud service are you using? Could it be because the 3G network (like ours) do not by default give the client a public IP address? The IP address you're given is the one on their network, not to your device (which is in their DMZ).
