Help with examples and Olimex ESP8266

I am being read for a while this forum I thanks to it I have learned a lot but unfortunately I still having problems to make work the example firmware that comes with the IOT on my Ollimex ESP8266 EVB
I have already installed the toolchain and the last SDK and I have been able to compile and make work the Frankenstein firmware and the examples from Olimex, I could connect through the serial port to Frankenstein and and surf the example HTTP server. To flash the images I am using the esptool.py
However none of the SDK examples looks to work. I have tried with the rtos and non-os versions of the SDK and I could compile the firmware and flash but doesn't seen to work.
