- Tue Dec 14, 2021 6:35 pm #93078 I believe those units have an upgraded antenna from the one printed on the ESP-01 board. There is also an upgraded antenna on some of the ESP-01 boards; the ones I have don't have the upgrade. That may account for the sensitivity difference.

I'm also not using a complied software, I'm using microPython and from what I've read there is no way to specify a fixed channel that could reduce connect time.
