Solve all pins high at power-on ESP-201

Hi,
I'm building a project with an esp-201. It's a simple switch using a 2N555 transistor.
I've come across a problem - when the esp-201 powers up all the GPIO pins pulse high for a moment. This activates my switch.
The problem for me is that, if the power cycles on the ESP-201, the switch will activate which is not desirable behaviour.
Can anybody suggest a way of curing this on the ESP-201 or, failing that, some simple modification to my circuit which might act as a buffer before the transistor so that pulses of, say less than 200ms, were filtered out? At the moment, the circuit is simply the base collected to GPIO2 with an inline LED to show the pulse and the switched circuit via the collector and emitter.
Thanks,
Dan
