hello all,
does anyone know if it is safe to supply nodemcu model with 5v 20amps power supply? I read somewhere that the max is 1amp, or would the module just take the amps it needs and be ok? I have a 5v 20amps power supply for leds and would like to use the same power supply to power nodemcu without using usb or other power supply,

thanks for your enlightenment.

Not an issue there !
In electronics, it is like in real life :
- power supply can afford delivering 20 amps, but the nodemcu just wish to get about 1/2 amp, so it is ok !
- candies store can afford delivering tons of candies, but the child just wish to get 12 candies, so it is ok !
:D
