ESP-12 vs ESP-12E, difference in flashing?
Posted: Sat Dec 31, 2016 9:13 amI have a board that says it's nodemcu v3. When I try to flash espeasy to it using arduino ide with board selected as nodemcy 1.0 it doesn't work, but with nodemcu 0.9 it works. What the difference with these boards?
Specifically what are the esptool.py parameters that I should use? I would like to use esptool.py because I think it's easier and faster than with arduino ide, as I'm not developing espeasy.
