Any help with a PIR sensor without module ?

I have a PIR sensor
do I need a external interface to make it works ?

The sensor picture you show typically needs an amplifier. You might be able to get some reading with the ESP's a/d input but I doubt you will get the sensitivity you need.

I found this data sheet for you to look at. I am not certain if it is exactly the same as the one you asked about.

Not only that, you really need that plastic lens for the PIR to work. I bought a number of the complete modules for under $1 each, but avoid the smaller module they have less functionality and a smaller lens so they just don't work as well.

While we're on the topic, these new Human Body Radar Sensors like the RCWL-0516 are incredible and they too are under $1 US. They seem to outperform the PIR modules as far as I (and a bunch of YouTube'rs) can see. Here's a link http://www.ebay.com/itm/RCWL-0516-Micro ... 2749.l2649
