ESP8266 Community Forum

None of my two ESP8266 (AL-THINKER) development boards can read waterproof DS18B20, but can read standard DS18B20 / To-92 package. 4.7 K and lower pull-up resistors tested. Both 3.3 V and 5 V supply tested.

Both types of DS18B20 works ok with Arduino UNO, tested with 5 V and 3.3 V supply voltage.

Just found out that by using D4 as sensor input instead of D1, even the waterproof ESP8266 could be seen by the ESP!
How to explain that only the standard sensor To-92 could bee seen by ESP when connected to D1?
