don't use the same pullup for gpio2 and chpd.
gpio2 will not be stable during boot and thus interfere via chpd with the boot process.

You're right, that was what I do : that is an error on my drawing, sorry (the orange wire is connected to the alone pull-up resistor)
I'm trying to correct my post.
