Adafruit's ESP8266 ESP-12

Just saw Adafruit began to sell ESP-12 board at $6.95/pc
A de-capped photo shows the flash chip is a WinBond (W)25Q32FVSI(G). The same page also claims the modules comes with 4MB flash.
Just wonder does this applies to ordinary ESP-12 and ESPD-12E?

P.S.
If nobody had ever decap them to check, I will decap mine tonight.

Hi Baoshi.
Would like to know from you how is the flashing of custom fw to ESP-12E with 4Mbyte flash.

once i get my tools, ill swap flash from esp-07 and hlk rm-04 (512kb - 4MB), and see what will be the outcome.

Hi villTech,

I rebuild the AT firmware example in SDK 1.0.1, choose QIO/4096 flash, and upload using FLASH_DOWNLOAD_TOOLS_v0.9.6_150419, doesn't seems to have any problem.
Any particular test you want me to try?
