#1542 Hi,
some weeks ago I got some ESP-01 modules from ElectroDragon.
Unfortunately these are all what the ElectroDragon wiki calls V080,
which means the pin header has only Vcc, Gnd Rxd and Txd connected.
No CH_PD and RST pin means no firmware updates for me.

Since the firmware on them has no way to disable the echo, which is a bit annoying.
Therefore I decided to try and to cut some tracks and solder some wires to pads directly at the chip to see whether I could get it into firmware upgrade mode.
Since I did have my good smd tools at hand I failed epically and the module only produced serial line noise when I hooked it up again.

So I decide to use hot air to desolder all the chips on the board and make some photos, just in case somebody wants to do some reverse engineering.

I lost a cap and ripped of some traces in the process ... I've redrawn them from one of my other modules.

Let me know if this is of any use to you.
