- Tue Jun 23, 2015 4:03 pm #21419 The red and blue led are on constantly which seems strange. On my other modules the blue led is on only during a transmission.

In ESPlorer I can not connect at any baud rate, tested them all.

I appreciate the help I am a Newb with the ESP8266.

What exactly is "the wiring". I have seen conflicting post.

Are pull up resistors needed? They were not needed for the ESP-01.

- Thu Jun 25, 2015 3:24 am #21580 For the esp-201 you need to connect gpio-15 to gnd, and ch_pd to 3.3v. Also xpd to rst if you want to use deep sleep. You can just use a directly connected wire, doesn't need to be a resistor. See here, and this photo:
