Compatible flash replacement

I've made a bunch of 'prototypes based on the ESP-01...

It looks like i'll need to have more flash in order to use the OTA features in the arduino IDE.

Can someone recommend (with a link if allowed) for a drop in replacement flash chip.. 4M preferably that i can solder on to an ESP-01 to 'upgrade' it... this would be much easier for me than rebuilding the prototype to be ESP-07/12...

many thanks.

I sucessfully upgraded both ESP-01 and ESP-07 with a W25Q80BV. Go to your favourite onlined store and search for W25Q80BV. You want the narrow one (150-mil). Chances are you'll find only the wide one (208-mil). Just bend the pins a little and you'll be able to solder it.

Link to the one I used: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-10PCS-LOT-W25Q80BVSSIG-W25Q80BV-W25Q80BVSIG-WINBOND-SIOC-8-WIDE-100-NEW-Original/1109951403.html
