- Sun Aug 16, 2015 12:29 pm #26189 Hi all! I'm looking to power my NodeMCU Dev board v0.9 via its pins instead of the USB Micro connection. Here is an image of the pinout from Electrodragon:



Because 3.3v Power and GND are both RSV (not connected) does that mean that this board cannot be powered without a USB connection or is there another work around?

If you want to power the board without USB in, you just need to either connect 5v to the 5v pin, or 3.3v to the 3.3v pin.
