powered ESP8266 with 5v and tree diode ==> 3,6V

Bonjour ,
i have read in this forum that it's possible to powered ESP8266 with 5v battery ( USB Charger) and tree diodes (LED ?).
5v - 3* 0.6 = 3,2V.
How to do that ?
with 'search function' not found.

This would be very crude. The forward voltage always depends a bit on the current. With an ESP8266 you can have 70 mA, but you can also have 0.9 mA. The resulting voltage changes can even toast the chip.
Please use a proper voltage regulator.

A buck converter is even better.

No rectifyer diodes black 1N4001 diodes connected in series.
Not the recommended method.
