Voltage drop on ESP-01

Hi
I have a circuit built with an ESP-01 and a DHT22. Everything was working fine, but suddenly it the circuit stopped working.

Investigating it with a multimeter, I saw that the voltage is around 3.16V, while the power source (which is a USB-SERIAL converter from the PC) is stated at 3.3V. In fact, the circuit without the ESP-01 works at 3.3V. However, 3.16V is not enough for the DHT22 to work.

Has anyone else experienced such voltage drop? Any ideas?

Am I really the only one seeing this? Unlucky me :)

The 3.3V line on most adapters is not powerful enough for an ESP.

You may want to check you power wiring/connections.

I have seen weak contacts cause ~1V voltage drops at 0.8A load, switch to a different (better) connection and got near 0v drop at the same load.
