Controlling LED thru internet

I just want to share this. Thanks to my friend who made this. I was able to control my appliance thru internet almost 3 months already now. I just followed what is in the video. Here are the links.

Why every LEDs there are connected to 2 GPIOs shorted in parallel ?

Each LED is connected to two GPIO, one GPIO is for Output and the other is for Status. You can use 1 GPIO every LED but due to unstable internet connection in some areas there is no guarantee that it executes the command. The purpose of the Status pin is to sends back the actual status to the website and to make sure the command is executed well. :D
