ESP8266-01 and Basic_Flasher

I'm new with the use of ESP8266-01 module. I tried to program it with the AT command and it work well but not like I wanted. After that, I found out the basic flasher and wanted to test it. However, I found out after downloading the V3.69 that the ESP8266-01 is not support anymore. Is that correct or I'm just wrong? In the case that i'm correct, does the last version (like the 2.0 branch thing) could support it??
