I made my first steps into the Arduino world about three weeks ago.
Mainly because of the ESP8266 - I really love that part!
I've been working so far with the Arduino IDE.
Compared to other stuff I know I think this is a real valuable IDE!
However, compiling and uploading takes quite a while.
And it does not support autocomplete-features.
I stumpled over some posts where one could get the impression,
that PlatzformIO is doing a far better job than Arduino IDE.
Especially compiling and uploading is praised to work a hell faster.
I would be happy about some feedback whether I should convert to PlatformIO.
Advantages vs. disadvantages of the two platforms.
