Maybe somebody have this kind of experience.
Computer: MacBook Pro 2014 / High Sierra
Board: NodeMcu LoLin V3 -ESP-12E, chip CH340G
Problem: Cannot read information from Serial port. Tried to switch baud rate. Tried different flash modes. nothing.
Connection and uploading of sketch goes perfectly. Blink test works.
Drivers were installed, Arduino IDE 1.8.13, ESP 8266 version 2.7.4.

but maybe it is sufficient to switch to a better OS.
