#91162 Hello,
I found an unused, but several years-old microcontroller unit with the label:
NODEMCU
Amica
.....
.....
OPEN SOURCE IOT PLATFORM
1. Install CP2102 Driver
2. Use 9600 baud rate
3. Connect Wi-Fi.. and enjoy

but for the last many, many hours I have not enjoyed trying to somehow connect to the device using my Windows 10 or Raspberry Pi 3B computers. When connected by USB, an led flashes blue when I press the "QST"? button (but not the FLASH button). I have tried reinstalling Arduino IDE, updated Board Managers, tried the boards "Generic 8266" as well as both of the NodeMCU options. I tried installing several different drivers in Windows.
The one constant I have is the the "Port" option is greyed out.

Does this device come with any ROM or does it need to be flashed? (Although I couldn't even find a port to do that).

I'm about to toss it unless I find out something useful soon.

Thank you
