NodeMCU ESP-12E power consumption
Posted: Tue Dec 06, 2016 4:50 pmI run successful an example with deep sleep mode on a ESP-12E board with 5V battery. Nothing else was conected. But althouth the chip needs less 1mA, the mesurement shows a bit moder than 10mA. I tried to bypass the AMS1117 by prviding 3,3V though an extra LDO (MCP1700-3302E/TO), but this didn't change the power consumption.
So my questionens:
What is the reson for the high power consumption?
Is it the ASM1117 and the USB connector?
Is there any way to lower the power consumption to less than 1mA?
