ESP8266 Community Forum

I'm using an ESP8266 Thing Dev board from Sparkfun which comes with a 4Mb flash. Since NONOS SDK 1.5.0 the AT firmware is too large for 4Mb flash I can not use the latest version . Is there a download for older version (older than 1.5.0) of NONOS SDK?

I was able to flash the latest version to 4Mb. Their official documentation says:

With the release of ESP8266_NONOS_SDK_V2.0.0, AT_V1.3, AT firmware can use 4Mbit Flash without
FOTA (upgrade AT firmware through Wi-Fi) function.

Not sure if that's of use for you, though.
