IoT PC power switch
Posted: Mon Feb 06, 2017 12:56 pmI just ordered 2 ESP8266 units from ebay, and I was wanting to use one to allow my Amazon Echo to turn my computer on and off (I don't want Wake on LAN) I found a guide(Ish) For doing this with a raspberry pi (http://en.tacticalcode.de/2013/03/trans ... -gpio.html) But I am not well versed in this area of technology, especially not converting this to work with my nodeMCU. Is it possible to do something like this? Or is it something I would be better off getting a raspberry pi to do
