ESP8266 Community Forum

I am new in esp community. hoping you guys would help me to get through this.
how do i connect my nodemcu with domain. i have my domain as host. but in the cpanel. what do you use to control the nodemcu? do i need to make html code?

I use mqtt and node-red to control the esp. Here's a tutorial https://www.baldengineer.com/mqtt-tutorial.html. It's using arduino code. I use both arduino and lua code in my projects.

well i tried mqtt it let me go through the other people server as the host.
i want to use my own domain as the host to control the nodemcu.. such things like sensors and output
