Interfacing ESP8266 HUZZAH Module using SPI with Tiva uC

I need to interface ESP8266 HUZZAH module from adafruit to my TI Tiva series microcontroller over SPI. I tried the features of this module over UART with this microcontroller.
Is there any example code available for interfacing ESP8266 over SPI ?
