Arduino <-> Arduino comm using ESP-01

- Mon Apr 17, 2017 10:30 pm #65042 I want to send text data from one Arduino to the other using the ESP-01. I have been having trouble using tutorials that I've found online so far. Does anyone have any good tutorials for this project or any insight? From what I can tell, it seems like I should program the ESP-01's independently from the Arduinos. I have also heard using NodeMCU might be a good idea. Any thoughts?
