ESP8266 Community Forum

So I just got this device today and it worked great. But I changed the password and now it won't let me join the wi-fi to change it back. so I tried redoing the firmware thing thinking it would change it but it didn't. So now I'm asking how I can find my password or change it without having to buy a new one.

you must do format flash, and then program firmware again... Then you will be back at the start...

You've didn't mentioned which firmware are you using and what did you do before ...
