Esp8266 Matlab UDP Passthrough

I am new, so I don't know if I'm right.
I have a working TCP Passthrough bridge, but in order to become more faster and minimizing the latency, I hope to establish an UDP-Passthrough with my PC.
I configured ESP8266 through AT-Commands.
What works is:
Matlab-->WifiPort 8889--> Wifi-Router --> LAN UDP-Port 8889 -->Matlab
If I change with same Settings to ESP8266-01 Module
Matlab-->Wifi UDP-Port 8889--> Wifi-Router --> ESP8266
still works, but
Matlab<--Wifi UDP-Port 8889<-- Wifi-Router <-- ESP8266
does not!
I also tried to turn of my Firewall and Antivirus Program and changed the ports, no success.
Does anybody know what I could do better?
Is there an positive effect for latency with UDP-Connection on the ESP8266-01 Modules over WIFI?
