ESP8266 Community Forum

I've programmed an ESP8266-01 with the WiFi manager library and that part works great, I can connect to its AP and set up access for my WiFi network. But, it just won't connect. I've also tried the Connect with WAP example sketch, no connection either. It's being powered by a little protoboard PSU that I think is good for 1A (not sure..) but can't think of anything else that would interfere.. I know this is a tough problem with not many leads but any ideas appreciated.

I sorted this out I think. As per numerous diagrams, I had tied RST high while trying to run the 8266. 'un tying' it (just floating atm) seems to allow it to work, it is now connecting to my WiFi network reliably.
