Esp8266-12e as repeater with hotspot

my name is Andrew, and i would like to build a project for my restaurant.
i would like to build a wifi-repeter ( connected on my own network) with a pesonal hotspot for clients.
is it's possible with the module esp8266 ?? i already saw many project in internet where the module can be used as a range extender or like access point but not as a hotspot
