Two ESP8266 and an Arduino Guidance

Im super new to the ESP8266 world. I would like to use two ESP8266 with no router. The goal is for one ESP to send data to another which will output to an arduino all without using a router . I have been searching relentlessly for weeks now but cannot find anything solid that explains how to do this.
