I'm not a newbie but I work with lots of other newbies!
I am a university lecturer in the UK and teach an 'embedded systems' class to year 2 students. They are a mixed group: elec eng, comp sci, mechatronics, & physics.
I am trying to move this in the direction of 'Internet of Things'
I/we design hardware and software to help with our teaching.
This year I plan to use a board designed around the Wemos D1 mini.
I've started writing this up & would appreciate comments from students, fellow academics etc.

This is very much 'work in progress' but comments are invited. I know that one or two people here also work in education.
Cheers
