16 MHz oscillator & nRF24L01 - is this an ESP8266 (-01)?

i've been shopping in China for some new toys an received 5 of the modules you can see in the attachment. I thought they were ESP8266 modules but i can't power them up. My USB programmer does not like them either and get really hot.
Turns out I didn't even buy them, they where sent to me by mistake...
The small chip is an ultra low power RF transceiver (http://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Products/ ... F/nRF24L01).
What are these? Any idea? I can't find this layout anywhere. How do i even power them up?
