NodeMcu bricked after board mannager upgrade?

I have been playing with nodeMcu for about 2 day and everything was running fine.
Today I decided to instal a new board mannager fron https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino, the latest version is V2.3.0.
After all the process I can´t compile any program to my NodeMcu. I get the following message.
Board nodemcuv2 (platform esp8266, package esp8266) is unknown.
Error compiling for board NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module).
I did everything was obvious to me and finally I reinstalled the entire Arduino IDE, unfortunately, it keeps sending me the message above,
despite the fact I am now running the previous version (functional one, v2.2.0 if I am not mistaken).
Is there anything I should try? Does it mean i have bricked my board?
I´m an absolute beginner
Thanks in advance.
Note: The installed program on the board, prior to the upgrade to v2.3.0, is still functional.
