ESP2866 Commnication Problem

So I changed the baud rate of my esp to 9600 using this command: AT+UART_DEF=9600,8,1,0,3
The module responded 'OK' but when I switched to 9600 baud the module won't respond to the 'AT' command.
Any thoughts on this one?
I'm currently using the wifi esp click board that has ESP-WROOM-02. I'm running windows.
