AT+CIUPDATE

I have used Espressif's ESPFlashDownTool to update the firmware to SDK 2.0.0, AT version 1.3.0.0
I know it is not the latest version.
But I wanted to see if I can use AT+CIUPDATE to update the firmware to SDK 2.2.0 which is the newest according to their website.
But it doesn't work.
Am I suppose to do something after I send that command?
Am I not understanding what the command does?

Fortunately, the module is not bricked, but the firmware does not change.
