ESP8266 Community Forum

use an esp to tell a smart phone over wifi that a switch has closed. The phone and the esp would need to be connected to each other without any other wifi being present ie router or other network. When the switch closes I need the phone to notify me that it has closed. The phone would not be outside of the wireless range of the esp. 1 switch 1 phone 1 notification. Thanks for any help.
