CAN I USE ADDITIONAL ESP8266 NODEMCU (I HAVE IT)??? TO SEND THE DATA TO MY PC

My thought is to use esp instead arduino to read from speed sensor and transmit data to my PC...THE REST CAN REMAIN TH SAME AS YOU SEE IN PHOTO.
