ESP-12E not responding to AT commands
Posted: Sat Sep 08, 2018 1:10 amI recently got an ESP-12E module at connected it to my PC via a FTDI cable using the following schematic.
I tried grounding the RST pin and got some jumbled up letters and no 'READY' output or anything of the sort. I tried at 9600 baud and 115200 baud as well. 115200 gives me more jumbled letters and 9600 gave a few letters. If I try entering 'AT' or 'AT+GMR' and send it via my Arduino Serial Monitor, nothing happens at all. Is my ESP-12E damaged?
