Connecting board via USB to a PC and using Putty.
Posted: Sat Mar 23, 2019 1:08 pmI bought this item in January. I have just opened it ( found time to play with it). I connected this via a USB cable to my PC as shown on multiple videos. When connecting to putty I should see some garbage, which I do see, then the manufacturer info and then "READY" . The putty only shows the garbage. I never get a "READY" or manufacturer info. I have pressed the rst button. The OLED screen keeps flashing "scan start..." then "scan done: 1 network found". What do I need to do to get this working? Is there other hardware I need to buy? Is there a manual written in English that applies to this device?
