ESP8266 to ESP8266 without server

- Thu Jan 16, 2020 4:54 pm #85295 I want to use 2 ESP8266 boards, one as the master and the second a slave. Attached to the master will be 6 switches that when activated will send a signal to the slave that activates a relay.
Is this doable and any suggestions on how to get started
