Control 2x Tasmota with 1x ESP8266?

Hi,

I am new to the whole ESP-verse, so I am looking for a bit of guidance.

I am a welder in a fairly hot & humid climate. I have 2x fans setup with Sonoffs which I control with an android app. This works ok but it's a pain having to interact with a smartphone every time I stop/start welding.

Ideally I would like an ESP8266 (or ESP32) in a box with a battery and a switch to control the Sonoffs reprogrammed with Tasmota (or something else?)

Any suggestions and/or guidance would be fantastic, thanks.
Andy

I would suggest using a temperature sensor or air quality sensor to send data to esp8622 and control relay connected to your fans, so in case of temperature sensor when you start welding temperature rises and relay turns on your fan, in case of air quality sensors like mq sensors when you start welding air quality gets poor and relay turns on your fan. :ugeek:

Thanks but the fans would blow away all the shielding gas required for the weldin in progress, hence needing to switch them off before welding!

Why not to use a rf switch instead, you have a rf remote and you can control it easily. Get rf module :D
