I have a couple of this Aliexpress UNO + ESP8266 boards: 
I got them in order to add WiFi capability to a DIY laser engraver which uses a UNO board and a CNC shield. I can upload sketches to both the UNO and the ESP8266, but I can not make the ESP8266 to work properly, every time I want to connect to the access point created by the ESP8266 I receive this message: "Can´t connect to this network". Sometimes the access point just doesn't appear in the network list at all.
I have tried with a lot of different sketches (even with the WiFiAccessPoint example sketch), different DIP switches combinations, different flashing tools (Arduino, esptools, Flash download tool, etc) and it is always the same problem. My first tought would be that the board is defective, but I have two of them and the proboem persists with both. Does anyone have the same board? any tips for making it work?
