Hi New here.. I have a WiFi ESP8266 and found a sketch got it going conected to server OK.
I want to use it to measure analog voltage and display it on the net.
I have conected an ADS1115 on D1 and D2 it seems to be conected I ran a scann and it shows I have one at 0X48 and I have changed the address of the original program.
But cant get it to display any changes in A0 on the ADS1115.
When i change the address of the ADS1115 it changes the out put value of Raw ADC.
Not sure what is going on This program was writen for a diferent ADC does that matter ? can i change the address and use an ADS1115. Sketch is in attachment. I would appreciate some help..

I did not look at you sketch, but it does matter that the sketch you started with is for a different ADC. Maybe have a look at http://www.esp8266learning.com/ads1115-analog-to-digital-converter-and-esp8266.php.

Hi Thanks for the reply I have ran that ADS1115 progeam and it does work and out puts to serial but has no WiFi
I dont understand if i change the addrss of the 2C device and have it on the correct pins for the board how does it know what type of ADC is on there. It sees there is an ADC on there as the value changes when I disconnect it or change the address. Allso cant see any ADC projects that use WIFI we do live in an analog word thought there would be more. I see a lot selling temerature sensors ect I am using a WeM.s board with a serial port its easy to use and I can think of a lot of uses Ill keep loking. Thanks.
