Hello and Thank you for reading.

I have a project in my head and feel like I am close.. but not close enough.

I have a Securi Wireless Doorbell.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wireless-Doorb ... 4670&psc=1

I also have a few Wemos D1 minis. (killed a couple already!!)

The project I am wanting to do involves hijacking the signal being sent to the speaker (whitin the device). Then for the wemos to detect it and send a notification through Home assistant. I can then use this to make say a Smart bulb flash when the bell is pressed.

The Home automation part I am good with.

Getting the Wemos to connect to wifi I seem ok with as well.

The part I am struggling with is joining the two things together in a way that does not fry the board or fry myself!!

The input to the bell chime is 100-240v.
I am not sure what the output to the two wires that supply the speaker are.
The speaker does say 8ohms at 0.5w.
I am also unsure of how to wire things up.
I am also not 100% sure of the code I need to use.

I have added pictures of all the things I think are relevent.

Please help. I am a noob of sorts but still have a good idea.

You have to use a relay between the Wemos and the wireless calling bell. Thus you will isolate the High voltage parts from the low voltage parts. A 5V relay module will be fine.

That makes sense.

So.. this might seem silly.. but what way around?

In my head I have the three contact pins next to the bell. And the normally open/closed going to the wemos.
