The arduino libraries are these ones:

Need some help to migrate to nodemcu lua

I just got latest ESP8266/Arduino https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino (installing with boardsmanager)
and downloaded library you
mentioned http://cnlearn.linksprite.com/wp-conten ... /SHT1x.zip
and it works

btw I am using NodeLUA dev board, sht1x soil/moisture connected to D2/D4
