Cannot connect to IP address after connecting to AP
Posted: Thu Jun 16, 2016 5:01 pmI am new to the ESP8266 but not to programming and MCU's. I currently have an ESP-01 and an ESP-12E. I have flashed both with the LUA Firmware and although I am able to connect to the AP, I am unable to bring up a web page at the IP 192.168.4.1. The device assigns my computer an IP so that is not the problem. I tried changing my Linksys Channel to 11 and even powered it completely off with no luck. I can use LUA to add the devices to my own AP SSID and get a new IP address but again, no connection to the IP address. I also tried EasyESP and I was not even able to connect to the AP with that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am having surgery next week and will be in the hospital for several days after and I want to have these working so I can work on some of my ideas while recovering. Thank you
